Give Thanks to the Federal Govt. and Piss on Illinois…

The Covid 19 economic shutdown destroyed my businesses. That said, I still never thought I would say “thank you” to the Federal Government. But were it not for the Federal Government’s stimulus check, extended unemployment benefits and the additional $600/week unemployment benefits I could not have survived. And while I know our debt bomb has grown at least $3,000,000,000,000,000, Trump had no choice. The economy simply had to have an infusion of cash.

Now let me say “piss on Illinois”. This State has to be among the worst States by every measure. First they were pathetically slow at getting the Federal Government’s unemployment money out to citizens in dire need. All this State had to do was pass out the cash… and they couldn’t even do that on a timely basis. But I think what pisses me off the most is that checks were 48 hours late any time there was a holiday.

Let me explain. Memorial Day was Monday the 26th of May and was a holiday for most everyone in State Government. For me, life and bills go on with or without me regardless of holidays. That means I still have to pay the mortgage and groceries and on and on she goes. In order to do that money has to arrive in my bank account on certain dates or I miss bills. Not unusual…. just like everyone else in this Country for the most part.

Well Wednesday the 28th comes along which is my day for my Federal money and much to my surprise NOTHING. Oh shit something has happened I thought. Now what? I suppose Illinois has some issue preventing them from getting the checks out.

Guess what? Illinois did have an issue. Turns out because Monday the 26th was a holiday, and the poor pitiful way overpaid government workers were off, they didn’t send checks out for 48 hours. I mean it’s only reasonable to think that since workers had Monday off, that the checks would be delayed. We peons in the masses should be happy we are even getting checks is seemingly the mantra.

Well I am here to tell you government dweebs, there’s absolutely no excuse for my check to go out 48 hours late. I bet your fuckin check didn’t go out 48 hours late. Why would you think it’s okay for mine to be late. If you have to work 24 hours a day until you are caught up because you took one holiday out of your egregious 15 holidays, that’s the price you pay to be MY employee. You need to learn who is really paying your bills and it’s not the State of Illinois.

While the article below is a little dated, it still gives good perspective on this issue. Given the article was written in 2016, I have updated my information through 2019. The Tribune article takes you back to 2010 and brings you forward as to the exodus, tax implications, pension debacle, demographics of who’s moving, and of all the things the impact of red light cameras. Read the following article it takes you back to 2010 and looks at the net loss. It actually was greater loss pre-2014.
This part of article is inconsistent with Census graph above. And has a glaring typographical error. If you’ll notice in the highlighted area it references 2015 twice when it should have referenced 2014 then 2015. Either way, the only way I can explain the 100,000 exodus in 2015 with the graph above showing 25,000 is that one is “gross” exodus and the other is “net” exodus. In other words when you subtract the new babies and new residents from the number of people that are leaving it nets out to only 25,000 total loss in population even though 100,000 people left the State. That would mean 75,000 new residents and babies arrived in Illinois to offset the 100,000 that left.
The loss of people over the last 20 years amounts to $50 billion in lost taxable income per year or about $8 billion a year in lost taxes. Enough money to balance the budget sadly enough.

“When we start talking about the debt, the first thing people do is run to Social Security. Social Security is a program that works. It’s going to be fully funded for the next 40 years. No, it’s not a crisis. This is something that’s perpetuated by people who don’t like government. Social Security’s fine.”

Harry Reid on the Senate floor discussing Republican efforts to block increase in debt ceiling.  If the man has ever read the Social Security Annual Report, he would know about the IOU from the Treasury. This IOU is for Social Security. It is to be paid out over the next 75 years. The amount is for 90+ trillion or 43 trillion in current value.  These monies owed Social Security and Medicare are affectionately called “unfunded liabilities”.  Please!!!  It is debt so stop lying about the actual term.  From an accounting standpoint, it is a liability that the Treasury owes. It is not a debt the public owes like the 17 trillion we have now, thanks to so-called President Obama. 

The difference between debt and unfunded liabilities is important only to those who hope to get Social Security someday. And after all isn’t the Treasury pretty much we citizens who pay taxes?  If not the citizens who else?  So you see unfunded, funded, wasted, or printed, all mean the same thing… it’s money we don’t have and have no real idea how to find it from our citizens.    Put that aside for now, the actual debt of this Country at this very moment… If we had to pay every dollar of debt, we would face 43 trillion in unfunded Social Security. We need to include this in our calculations. We must consider 43 trillion in unfunded Social Security. Additionally, there is 17 trillion in general obligation debt. This totals $60,000,000,000,000,000.  That works out to $190,470 per every man. woman and child currently residing and being a citizen of the United States.  Notice I say “citizen of the United States”… illegals would not be on this list of debtors. 

While my stats are factual, they admittedly seem far-fetched. This Country simply could not pay this amount now. It could not pay ever, given the current anemic GDP growth rate of 2% or less under Obama.  Fast forward 20 years. Some of these bills will come due in a landslide as baby boomers reach retirement. I would ask you to give me a single plausible rationale as to how we deal with this debt.  Grandma’s Social Security check depends on us coming up with the money. 

Borrow the money you say… from who?  And at what interest rate?  And for how long?  A single cell amoeba could figure out the United States is headed towards bankruptcy or worse anarchy… Obama is not solely responsible. However, he is the accelerant or gasoline that poured 7 trillion onto the debt fire. Then you have hare-brained Harry Reid making statements like above.  Total political hackery.  He can’t be this dumb, I am a mere mortal citizen and have just read documents readily available from the government and figured out we are mortally fucked in 20 years or less.  How come this guy with access to every piece of information the government owns, doesn’t know what I know.  Well it’s because he is dumber than Nancy Pelosi.

Reid talking about Obamacare on Senate floor Feb 2014

“Despite all that good news, there’s plenty of horror stories being told. All of them are untrue, but they’re being told all over America,” said Reid.

Another gem by hare-brained Harry.  The guy is so dumb he didn’t even hedge his statement by saying something like: “Many of the claims are untrue”. No not Harry, true to his dumbbell out of touch career politician roots, he goes all in and says:  “All of them are untrue”  Few things in life are perfectly true or untrue, but Harry knows something the rest of us don’t know.  There are indeed things that are 100% untrue… there’s no room whatsoever for the possibility just maybe a single person experienced a catastrophic medical emergency at the same time they lost their insurance.  NOPE… I consider this statement by Reid a notch higher on the dumbbell scale.

And finally the dumbest statement that has been repeated more often than “President Bush left me the worst recession since the Great Depression”…. tada:

 I know that there are millions of Americans who are content with their health care coverage. They like their plan. They value their relationship with their doctor. This means we will keep our promise, no matter how we reform health care. If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor. Period. If you like your health care plan, you will be able to keep your health care plan. Period. No one will take it away. No matter what. My view is that health care reform should be guided by a simple principle: “fix what’s broken and build on what works”.

This statement is the most brazen and factually incorrect. It is the knowingly dumbest yet most significant and impactful statement made by a President in the past 50 years.  This was the exact verbiage of a speech to the AMA in May 2011 in Chicago Illinois.

UPDATE 2016:  Pelosi is no longer in line to be President.  Her dumb statements finally caught up with  her and she was tossed out of the majority in the House.  Scary Harry Reid looking like he is knocking on deaths door is finally… yes finally retiring.  He like Pelosi were traded in for smarter dumbells known as Republicans.  And the biggest dumbbell is Obama.  It has finally become common knowledge he lied through his teeth on the Affordable Care Act.  God help us… we need brighter and less political hacks in Washington.

UPDATE 2018: Surprise! Nitwit Nancy is back as the Speaker. And has she really gotten dumber.

UPDATE 2020: Nancy Numb-nuts Pelosi lead an impeachment effort against Trump in 2019 and it backfired right in her face. Then to show just how dumb she really was… in front of 34MM people at the State of the Union in 2020, she tore up Trumps speech. Pure histrionics, but dumb nonetheless. She looked like a pure and simple “little baby throwing a tantrum”. Her colleagues should have yanked her aside and told her “that shit won’t fly”. “The public was offended by your antics.” But she is such a brick-brain she wouldn’t have listened anyway. My sincere hope is that as I write once again how dumb she is, that karma will deal her a hand of cards with the top card being the “devil” card signifying she is now done FOR GOOD! And that her lasting legacy was a pitiful example of what not to do, and along with that legacy, the House changes order back to Republican. If it does, her legacy will be sealed as one of the worst Speakers dead or alive. And Trump will likely be considered one of the greatest Presidents dead or alive. Him having both houses will electrify this Country like no other event in the last 60 years. The man is sometimes tone deaf as to his comments, but make no mistake he is a man of his word, and he gets stuff done despite all the boat anchors like Pelosi holding him back. He was the right man for our time. We suffered through 8 years… we were due for a Trump kinda President. If you read this say a single prayer that Trump is re-elected and that the House is Republican. You will not be sorry for having done so. Call me if you are 630-327-9389.

Day 84 of Captivity in the Socialist States of America…

This is my initial discussion making the case for changing the use of USA to Socialist States of America or SSA… Each day of captivity, I will chronicle examples of socialist changes in our economy caused by our government. I have decided to change my personal reference of the USA to “the former USA”. From now going forward I am a captive of the SSA. As a proud American in the Reagan tradition, I pledge to defeat the socialists that now overwhelm our National and State governments. And yes we have officially entered the BIZARRO WORLD!!!

And now the NEWS!!!

Folks each day we are moving closer and closer to a European style socialist economy… don’t believe me? Okay… Rick Wagner of GM was forced out as CEO because the government, i.e. Obama didn’t think he was up to the task of running GM. Oh… you think this was a good idea. Maybe? But since when did the government have the audicity let alone right… to force a CEO out of office? Seriously. Socialism is largely defined as government ownership of the means of production. In this case not only is the government owning GM through its bailout, but it is now higher in the pecking order than GM’s Board of Directors. BOD’s have always been in charge of determining the viability of a CEO, but now the government is doing this? Sure you might say the government loaned them all this money so they now have the right to call the shots. I ask… do you really really want the government telling companies how to run their business? Seriously. Keep in mind, we (through our elected leaders i.e. the Federal government) are currently sitting on $10trillion in debt, and by the time Obama is gone, we will have another $10trillion (not my number CBO’s number)… so you think an entity that by all normal standards of accounting is bankrupt should tell others how to run their business? Come on… you know the folly of that thinking. You can come up with all kinds of “feel good” reasons why I am wrong, but you know deep down, I am right. And you also know that we are moving to a socialist type economy.

There are no winners or losers in a socialist economy… everyone is equal. Sounds good!!! WRONG… why do you think America invents everything. Because there are winners and losers in our economy!!! Take away incentives to WIN, and you lose creativity and ingenuity.

Folks even Europe is now moving away from Socialism… both France and Germany elected Conservatives meanwhile we elect a Socialist. WHAT!!! Sarkozy from France openly talks in conservitive terms… WHO WOULD EVER HAVE BELIEVED A FRENCHMAN WOULD BE CONSERVATIVE!!!! Meanwhile we move in the other direction… INSANE IN THE MEMBRANE!!!

So now my RANTINGS are going to chronicle our daily march to Obama’s socialist nirvana. This is a topic I have been dabbling with, but now… much like our Carter Hostage Crisis days where each day of captivity was chronicled by “Nightline”, I will now chronicle our Socialist Hostage Crisis.

Congress is filled with absolute JACK ASSES…

How dare Congress pretend to be outraged over AIG bonuses. They created the mess leading to the need for a bailout, they decided to bail out AIG and they didn’t even read the legislation giving AIG indemnity against clawback of the very bonuses they are now grandstanding about. Congress is a pathetic collection of the most incompetent, sanctimonious, petty jack asses ever assembled in a single room.

Congress should be embarrassed and ashamed of their juvenile and pathetic phony outrage.

These same simpleton’s in Congress chastising others, have amassed more debt in the past 90 days than has ever been recorded in world hsitory. Where do these people get off asking anyone questions about their finances or business transactions. Our current Congress has utterly no earthly idea what it is doing with the public’s trillions of tax dollars…

This chirade playing out in Washington is all political tripe… designed to obfuscate the real problem which is the unparalled ineptness of Congress and the President.

WE must impose term limits on Congress just as we do the President because Congress has now usurped from our sophomoric Teleprompter in Chief, i.e. Obama, the power of the Presidency. Obama has lost control as President; and were it not for his teleprompter, he would have nothing to say or do.

I often ponder how our citizens were so duped by Obama… after all he told all of us he was going to “change” everything and he was going change things in a dramatic leftist direction. Did our citizens not believe Obama. I did, and now my fears are playing out in living color.

And what I see in living color is that Obama has turned over the reigns of the Federal government to Congress’ most dillusional out-of-touch members i.e. Pathetic Pelosi and Retarded Reid.

So I pray Congress continues down its current path of kaos and anarchy… that will assure a clean sweep of the nit-wits currently running Congress in 2010, much as we experienced under Clinton in 1992.

WE all must do our fair share to maintain the pressure on Congress thereby ensuring irrational and “Sybil-like” actions and reactions by our Royal Morons. I have my 15 tea bags prepared to be mailed once a day from April 1st… DO YOU!!!
